Luis Fernandez Luque
About: I am a Spanish young researcher working in Tromsø Norway (hundreds kilometers above the polar circle). I bet I am the northernmost participant. I am part of the team of the Tromsø Telemedicine Laboratory (www.telemed.no/ttl). My PhD is about how to personalize health education to the needs of the patients. I have just started and now I am studying the possibility of using PHR and Web 2.0 with Recommender Systems for delivering personalized health education.
Before moving to Norway I was working the ITACA-TSB research group of Valencia (Spain), www.tsb.upv.es, in several telemedicine projects. I have bachelor and master degree from the University of Sevilla (Spain), but I have been also studying Medical Informatics in Germany (FH-Stralsund) and also in the Technical University of Valencia.
If you have any question about my PhD, or the projects at Tromsø just ask me. And yes it is possible, I have survived to 3 months of darkness.
